One "looses" an arrow...vintage way of saying "shoots an arrow", bringing an insight into the process of pulling and releasing. Not common among non-archers
Hello JTK, thank you for your explaination. When I shot I lost, would lose (not loose) many arrows. It was too many decades ago, sorry I forgot about the usage of looses; ole timers setting in. Your point is well taken, much appreciated.
