Very nicely done!
Is there a tutorial somewhere or can you explain how to do it?
If you print colour film already, it is quite straightforeward; You simply lay your subject on a sheet of colour paper under your enlarger and expose it to light than process it in standard RA4 chemicals. For light filtration I use a piece of colour negative film processed but not exposed (therefore transparent) and I set the colour filters for that film base. For exposure you have to do some tests, but you may get good results with a lot of different exposure times. To print the positive image you can put the negative one face down on a new sheet of paper and expose it with the same filtration. As for exposure time, again, a test is essential.
All of this could be done in black and white as well

Thank you, this looks like fun!

I like both versions.

But out of the two versions I really like the positive version of the poppy most = the graphic nature of the picture ie the saturated colours and lighting especially.

sorry i missed these when you first posted them
i REALLY like them !
i hope you continue making them !

hi berri

the best place to post these would be in the gallery, which isn't available to you as a "member"
to post them in the gallery one must purchase a subscription ... then you can upload them.
in a thread like this, is OK i suppose, but i it is ez to miss them
and speaking for myself, if you make more, i'd hate to miss them !

have fun!

ah thanks! I didn't notice the gallery! I guess I'll have to buy a subscription then. Is it nice there?

YES !

the gallery is fantastic. it is full of interesting and inspiring photography

They look gorgeous, Berri. When I saw the thread title, I immediately thought of John & was glad to see him weigh in. 'Seems you two would have a bit to talk about.

I will make some more, if It made such a success:smile:
Now I installed Durst a colour processeor in my darkroom, so I have to wait to have it up and running before I do anithing else!
I wanted to try wild helleborus, but it is very green, so I guess it'll come out just magenta...

Man!
with your analyzer and your Durst processor you are going to be cranking the prints out easily. I'd LOVE to have a processor...exposed paper in one end...print out the other end.

Yes! it's cool! and with a bit of patience I managed to get it for a good price! It is a major help since I don't have running water in the durk room but it is in the next room. So I gather all the prints in a washing tray and then bring them all together to wash, I now work much fater!
