collodion.com forum, why is it closed?

I'm a soon-to-be "wet head", and would like to participate and learn on the forum. I'm not allowed to register, any collodion.com users here who can explain why?

I found myself in tha "same" boat.

They are moving lock, stock and barrel to one of the European countries, where they "may" re-open re-constitute the forum.

Ask questions on APUG in the alternative process forum. I know there are several "wetheads" that can either answer your questions directly or point you in the right direction.

The collodion.com forum is still active. I posted there today. I'll sign back on and let Quinn know of the registration problem. AFAIK there are no plans to restructure the forum.

Hello Everyone,

Joe emailed and alerted me that there were some of your trying to register. I had to shut the registration down for two reasons; first I am in the middle of writing my thesis and secondly, I have been getting a lot of "spammers" creating accounts with porno sites and credit cards, etc. I simply don't have the time to maintain that kind of stuff right now.
If you want, send me an email and I will get you registered. This is the only way I can maintain the board.

Sorry, a bit off topic. But I am curious: Is it possible to get the chemicals needed, like ether and ethanol in Sweden? (I really liked those huge totally grainless Sally Mann prints...)
