So who here collects vintage images? I've gotten hooked on collecting vernacular tintypes and daguerreotypes. Fortunately they're still quite affordable for the most part, although vintage Dags are starting to get up there. I just won an auction for an actual Plumbe signed dag. Looking forward to getting it in my hands.

Greetings,

I'm also a collector of venaculars. I would venture to say I have in one way shape or form, (photos, slides, negs, cine film) over 25000 images. I've been collecting about 10 years. Over the years I've honed my collection to subjects or actions of interests to me. Subject wise I enjoy vintage circus images (sideshow, girly review, back stage), abstracts, military, patriotic, local hometown, photo booth to name a few. Certain actions like kissing, sleeping, self shooter, really intrigue me. I find linking photos with a common theme really make a STRONG visual impact. I currently do not have a website but if you think this is something you would like to explore more check out the url below.

That's such a great picture. Very surreal, especially with the ladies under their black umbrellas. I can see why you collect them

Amazing! This one is incredible too! That dinosaur... WOW... very cool picture. Thanks for sharing
