I’d like to use a Cokin-style P-size filter holder on my Miniature Speed Graphic. I have a Cokin adapter ring that will mount on my lens using set screws, but it’s for the A-size holder. Does anyone know if there’s an A to P step-up adapter available?

There is an adapter to make a P-type holder accept an A-type filter holder and thus A-type filters.

But nothing for the other way round. I would like to have such myself.

Does your lens not have a filter thread ?

If so either get the correct size adapter , or if it's a small lens like the one I tend to leave on my Crown Graphic that uses 40.5mm filters , use a step up adapter to one in the Cokin P size .
ie , a 40.5mm to 49mm step up ring and a 49mm Cokin P adapter ring .

But that depends on your lens .

Still, no reply from the original poster?

I guess it wasn't too important and they've lost interest in using them .

Sorry, I didn't mean to seem to ignore you, and the responses to my question are appreciated.

I hadn't thought of screw-in filters, I've just always used slip-on adapter rings with these older lenses. The lens is a 101mm Optar, and seems to have a thread. If it's for filters the size would be about 30mm. I have a cheap 30mm to 58mm step-up ring on order - if it fits the lens, I have a 58mm adapter ring for the P-size filter holder. Otherwise, I'm probably going to try to somehow modify the set-screw adapter I have.

Thanks again for your help.
