I looked at the fresh unopened box of another batch I have that's not been used yet or mixed and there's a code/date on the side of the box that reads 1506015. No idea what that means.
Which type of box - the old one, which indicate manufactured in the USA and is tall and thin, or the current, shorter, squatter box, which indicates manufactured in Germany?

The instructions that come with the fixer that says, "For Films and Plates".
This is what the box looks like.

I turned the box around and it says it's manufactured in Germany for Kodak Alaris Unlimited.
OK, that is the current stuff.

If it was the older stuff, it would have been sitting around for a long time.

I use the Rapid Fixer for both films and printing papers. The portion that I mix up for paper is mixed at a 1+7 dilution.

For film I always used the Rapid Fixer but for paper the standard powdered mix.
