Looking for a reasonably priced Nikon FA hand/Finger Grip.

Insane people on Fleabay want $85 for one; that's about 2X what I paid for my FA with a data back and a 50mm f1.8 Series E lens!

I can live without it, but one would be nice. Maybe I should just buy a motor drive for less and be done with it...

yes bandit:

i used four of them throughout the nineties, each with its own drive permanently attached... i might take one off once or twice, only to put it back on almost immediately... same for my FM2s... that entire "small body" line improves markedly in handling with their MDs attached

although it can share the MD-12 with other bodies, try the dedicated MD-15 first, it's better

Done and Done! Amazing that I could pick up a near-mint MD15 for $15 + shipping VS the $84 plastic hand grip!

I'm another MD15 fan. My only complaint is that it takes up a little too much room in my already overcrowded camera bag LOL.

Yes, space is at a premium around here too. A nice problem to have, though...

And I couldn't be happier! This MD-15 is pristine AND a lot better looking than a cruddy old hand grip!
