Folks, my time on this magic carpet ride is over.
I've spent the last 8-10 years slowly getting these components together for what I think is a fantastic 8x10 outfit of the highest caliber.
All in excellent and very usable condition, no CLAs or adjustments needed. Light-tight and clean, ready to shoot, plug 'n play, etc etc.
Any issues are noted, but bear in mind everything has some sign of use, along with some minor dust. If you're looking for pristine camera gear, this sale isn't for you.
Sold as a package for now. If no one wants the entire kit, I'll break it up and sell the individual items.
Wehman 8x10 camera - includes plenty of lens boards and a 4x5 back. A truly original and brilliant design. Weighs 7 pounds, extends to 30 inches and is rock-solid.
Schneider Super-Symmar XL 210 - Some Schneider-itis. Sent to Jason Lane, he assured me it had no effect and shipped it back to me. If you want him to fix it, it will cost you $100, just get in touch with him in the fall.
Schneider Super-Symmar XL 150 - some very minor coating marks on front glass
Kodak Ektar 12" f/4.5 in Ilex 5
Fujinon 250 f/6.7 - Seiko shutter is stepless but all speeds sound good and strong
Rodenstock Ysarex 210 f/4.5 - very compact lens covers 8x10 with ~1.5” of movements, fits inside folded camera
No name Petzval 11” f/4 - covers whole plate at infinity, 8x10 at portrait distance
Toyo 8x10 holders (6x), notched, includes soft case
Fomapan 200 film, box of 50 sheets FRESH – I have 5 boxes
Schneider 8x Loupe
Sekonic L-308 meter
Cloth cable releases - lots of them, top-shelf stuff
Jobo 3005 - lid repaired with marine epoxy about 6 years ago, works perfectly
