Simple question, how does one clean the white fixer residue off plastics?
Its the only chemical that leaves a trace when spilled and simple wet napkins don't seem to get it off.

Green Scotch scrub pads...and lots of elbow grease. Ilford used to make a system cleaner that would eat anything off anything, but I don't think they do any more.

Thank you.
I'll try to see if I can find something close to the products you mentioned.

Errr tar and rack cleaner for the photo industry? that pretty pink liquid pro labs use does wonders. Do you have it over there or is it only an aussie product?

Well. what I do is to dunk trays, reels and whatever in some lukewarm water with a generous dash of household bleach and then give the reels a good scrub with and old toothbrush. Works a lot better than a lot of expensive tank ckeaner stuff. Don't forget to rinse.
