I`ve heard from a source that Paterson may sell a range of Clayton Photo-chemicals in the UK. Their F-76 Plus developer sounds interesting, are their any regular users of this developer out there?

I've been testing a sample bottle that Lowell Huff sent me a while ago. Nothing to complain about - very solid developer with good keeping and speed properties from what I can tell. I keep meaning to do a test with Delta 3200 and TXT at high speeds in Microphen and F76 to compare the two.

Not much help, I"m sure, but just offering what I got.

I use it for developing 35mm Tri-x and like it a lot. I rate it at EI 250 for 9 minutes, 1:15, at 70 degrees. Negatives are easy to print with full shadows and controlled highlights.
