Really cool! That unitas is a great hand wind watch movement. I wish there were more pictures to show its tied into the shutter speed. I cant seem to find the shutter speed adjustment on the camera either in the pictures.

very beautiful. Newt, i don't think there is a definite, shutter speed dial, more than likely, it was along the lines of two twists equals 30 seconds...

link ^ shows he's made several cameras and their respective photos, although i'm just guessing and may be incorrect.

also, i don't think you can buy it, or maybe for several thousands you can, (tens of thousands?) seeing as the watch it self is 800, at least the heartbeat 1 was... and that was only part of the camera.

The Compass came to my mind too.

In both cases mechanics who had to much time... or clientele with too much money...

OMG !!.. I am shocked to see this. Its nice for color and look also.

I would invest in putting a screwmount for accepting leitz glass and get best image. Engineers are strange. I am member of grabcad and they invest hundreds of hours to computer model of non functional engine drawings but lots of rendering and coloring. Its meaningless job.
Form follow function , if function follow form , at least it might function as time invested to form.

leica lenses make nice pictures, yes, mustafa, but that's sort of beside the point here, which is to make a very elaborate pinhole camera,a tour de force of camera building -- pinhole cameras are all about doing it the hard way, but ending up with unique images anyway.
