I just became the new owner of a RZ system, lightly used.
Externally it appears to be perfect.
Mechanically everything seems to be in working order.
However, it has been sitting in it's original box for two years.

I would like some recommendations as to a technician/shop, who can give it a thorough
CLA.
Prefer to keep the body in USA to avoid customs.
Currently living in NY state, two hours north of NYC.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks for the public and private messages.
I did neglect to mention there are some dust particles, a few not many,
that can be annoying while focusing. Nothing tragic !!
I have been accused of being anal with my equipment and vehicles, by some.

You can wipe the mirror yourself and even take out the ground glass and clean that. It's very easy.

But don't be so anal, they seems to be really easy to dust up ( the mirrors) but just clean the backs (that hold the film) and you should be fine.

Enjoy.

I made the mistake of trying to clean my focusing screen and ended up with isopropyl between the two pieces of glass. totally ruined the screen and had to buy a new one. And now that's dusty  So, just deal with it I say!

I've always sent my stuff to KEH and they have always done a awesome job. I sent my Nikon F4 to them last year because of a winding issue and they just replaced the entire camera with a new one and just changed me the labor cost.

Since then I send all my cameras to them for CLA if I can't do it myself.
