I got a Minolta 800si and grip, and a Konica FT-1 Motor with left-hand actuator. Be neat if I was left-handed.

What all did Santa bring you?

For the first time ever I succeeded in getting someone to look at my B&H wish list.

Got two really nice Avenger C-stands with grip knuckles and arms. Rollin' phat here....

I feel blessed. My wonderful wife bought me an Olympus OM2n with 50mm/f1.4 and 24mm/f2.8 lenses. This is the start of a small collection of the cameras I've owned previously and loved or lusted after but couldn't afford.

A happy festive season to one and all and let's not forget it's about wanting what you have more than having what you want....

My son bought me a Sony A200K DSLR. He thought I should go digital. He means well and said I could use it when I travel.

A manfrotto tripod and a load of high-ISO and B&W film. Unfortunately, my parents weren't aware that tripods don't come with the camera mounts, so I have to get a ballhead myself.

Nice!

My son bought me a Sony A200K DSLR. He thought I should go digital. He means well and said I could use it when I travel.

I got back into Minolta Maxxum film cameras because I bought myself that same Sony A200 back in July. Very nice camera for the price! It requires a newer Minolta flash though, the 5400 will only work in manual mode.

Alas, the 800si I received is a junker. I have the sad duty of letting the wife know that it needs to be returned. Maybe THEN she can get me a Konica Hexanon 21mm lens... drool...

Massive Pelican case. I have no idea how I'm going to use it.

. . . shirts, pants, socks, and a small portable DVD player. The family has all gotten together and decided among themselves that I have enough camera gear and will never need any more photography related gifts. RATS!! They are the cause of my ceaseless G.A.S. attacks!

I got a Epson V500 scanner. I don't have a set up to do Cibachromes, so it handles my slides nicely.

I got a Sekonic L-558 (ok, I got it a little bit early). It is great, I love it. No more guessing.

Wonderful piece of equipment.
