I won't. It's just a lot less money than Ilford. Reading the reviews it is without documentation like Catlabs film. So who knows what it is.

I'll find out next week as i just placed an order w B&H for film and paper and included some Multitone brand to try out, since it's the most inexpensive paper on the market

Maybe you need to understand that Lucky is a national-owned enterprise in China, not a private enterprise, so they may just probably very careless about overseas marketing (they mainly export medical films)

Lucky do produce RA-4 paper , so China even has anti-dumping duties on Fuji and Kodak papers to protect domestic photo papers.Now when you go into a photo shop in China, they basically use Lucky photo paper.

And about year ago they produce multi grade BW paper too(but I noticed that there seems to be FB paper in this manual, I will consider asking them)

There is no doubt that Lucky has this technology. During the years of cooperation with Kodak, it almost owned most of Kodak's emulsion formulas.

As for whether it is excellent, you can check its manual (attachment) and read its dmax performance and contrast.

But it is undeniable that not many people have used it. I don’t think they pay enough cares about promoting this product. Even this manual is not open to the public. It was given to me by their agent.

As for its performance, you can look at the picture I posted in the beginning. My experience is that the tone of it is very consistent with that of Foma. The only difference is that the image appears slower in the developer

Of course, we know that the way to strictly judge the quality of a photographic paper is to use it personally and measure its contrast curve.

In fact, you can't buy it from BH because this photo paper has not been exported yet. This is the purpose of this post

I personally think that the only way this photo paper can be shared with overseas photographers is to allow capable people to purchase relatively large quantities of goods (such as 50 boxes), and then sell them to darkrooms in various places.

So if what B&H is selling is not Lucky paper but is much cheaper than Ilford paper I wonder who the maker is ?

Well still a mystery. There is no country of manufacture on the envelope and no data sheet inside the package.

That was what the reviews on B&H stated. Most of the reviews were good. Have you made any prints yet?

Why bother with such papers when Foma is around? Is it just because its a new product, or am I missing something? For me, printing paper has to be a love affair.

Maybe the quality is better.
In my 25-sheet box of 5x7 Foma, two sheets had a small white spot in the emulsion of 1-2 mm diameter (a reprint proved the negative was fine).

Much of Foma is out of stock at B&H. In general I agree about loving a paper, but there are less to love. At 1/2 the price of Foma, I thought i'd give the 5x7 a try to make photo cards with. I've done it with fiber based & with photo, card stock, envelope & postage (international)....it comes to over $5 cost / unit..... so worth a try.
On a similar note, I bought a stack of remaindered Ultrafine/Eagle FB and found it to be a remarkably good paper.... never hurts to offset the rising costs.
There are folks shooting xray or rebadged film....

I just got a box of it and will try to use it this weekend.

Figured it would be good for contact sheets if nothing else.

With the Chinese reputation of producing photographic paper and chemicals for a short while then stopping the manufacture after a short while (I am thinking of Kodak RA4 paper here) I would not trust them any further than I could throw a bowl of Chinese fried rice. Ilford may be a little more expensive, but what you get is reliability and consistency with a proven product.
