Hey guys, I just wrote a check for $550 to the Catholic Community Services food bank for the last items we sold here. THANK YOU and here's another item:
This lovely (sort of) Graflex Series B, 3 by 4. It's kind of rough, but it is in excellent good working order -- the shutter was recently gone through and overhauled so it fires nicely on all speeds and spring settings. Bellows and shutter both solid, no leaks, tears, holes or bad karma.
The 5 1/2 inch Kodak Anastigmat F 4.5 lens is clear and clean, no haze or fungus. And, as an added bonus, it us UNCOATED to guarantee you that amazing "old style" look that folks seem so fond of these days. What would the folks at Lomography charge you just for this lens, heh?
BAD: The camera is cosmetically very rough -- the handle is a crude leather replacement and the hood is cracked and held together with tape. There's been some repainting of the metal work.
So, what this camera is is ready for you to strip the leather, refinish the wood and add your Kodak AeroEktar, right? Or just slap an instant film back on and shoot at will. It comes with a film pack adaptor.
THE DEAL: For a measly $100 I will mail you, at my own cost, this camera to any place in the United States the US Postal Service delivers. Every penny of your $100 is donated to the Catholic Community Services food bank in Ogden, Utah. It is a wonderful agency, run by personal friends, which handles donations with great responsibility.
Don't trust me? Look up Catholic Community Services Joyce Hansen Hall Food Bank, Ogden, Utah, and ask to speak to the director, Maresha Bosgieter. She will vouch for me.
So the poor get help, you get a nice camera, and I leverage whatever postage I pay into a nice donation to a great agency. It's win win win!
First $100 to my paypal at summicron12000@yahoo.com gets it. Should you send more, then the food bank gets more, not me.
THANKS!!!
