I'm scanning lots of old B&W negatives in my Epson V700 (using EpsonScan) and whenever I bring up the histogram adjustment window, the output level is always 200. I ususally change it to a higher setting so I have a bit more range in the resultant file. I cannot figure out any way to set this so it will default to a different number. Does anyone know of a way to do this? I just don't see one. I've even browsed through the registry settings, but don't see anything obvious.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Set the output endpoints in the histogram page, then save the current setting (first pane at the top of the Epson Scan window).
