Chamonix 4x5 with a Sinar Vario/Zoom

If anyone out there is using this combination, could you tell me if the Vario can fit under the ground glass without the need to remove the GG completely and attach it like I would with a traditional film back? This is a major annoyance with my 45FA as the little tabs that are meant to help lift the spring back stop the Vario about 1cm from fully coverage. Thank you!

There is a thread about Chamonix and Sinar Zoom and the answer seems to be: yes it does fit.
