I'm on the West coast of the US, so it's only about half over. Like Dave I had two destinations in mind... had a wonderful morning, came home developed the 3 papers and they are hanging to dry. One looks very good. Pre-flashed some more paper and have all three cameras loaded and ready to go out again... my daughter is going with me this time and we should have fun. Will write more later, meanwhile off to more pinholing!

Edit: the three papers are 5x7, 8x10 and 11x14...t hey look neat hanging to dry all in row from small to large!
 
I "finished" my foamcore 8x10 in time to test it last Wed and got two reasonably decent shots with it, so I used it today. But, it was raining and pretty cloudy. I don't have a clue if they will come out 'cause I won't be able to develop them until Wed, but I'll keep my fingers crossed until then. If I have a chance, I might try to do something with my 4x5 one tonight. The clouds are clearing off, I think, so I might have a chance with some old Tri-X I have loaded. I used some older Arista ortho lith film with the 8x10.
 
I shot a roll of Fuji Acros with my converted Brownie today in NYC with the B&H group. Won't have the results until later in the week, though.
 
Well, the day's results are up in my PBase gallery. I feel as though I'm still not quite where I want to be in the world of paper negatives, but the results were better than last year. Those are inverted scans, when I get some time (and a suitable piece of glass!) I want to try contact printing a couple of them.
 
Here is what I submitted:

It was a wet day, so I made do with a 5 and 1/2 hour indoor exposure, on X-ray film.

I made two 11x14 pictures with the big Hello Kitty popcorn can. The first was badly overexposed. My daughter picked the time for the second exposure and that one still needs to be developed.

All along she wanted to use a particular solargraphy can for her camera, and make a picture of apple trees. This can has ladybug sticker on the bottom that she put there for luck about a year ago, and then it made one of my best solargraphs so far. Several days ago she picked a particular apple orchard with pretty lupine growing in it. We went there yesterday afternoon and set up the camera and she pulled off the tape shutter. She really wanted it to include the lupine and rattlesnake grass. I had no idea what the exposure should be so we were going to try 20 seconds. Well.... the can tipped over and fell on the ground after only 7 seconds :sad:. So as a consolation the second popcorn can picture is hers and she can submit it to the WPPD site if she wants. This story has a happy ending though... it turned out that 7 seconds was just about right and the lupine would have been overexposed if it had gone any longer. As the can tumbled to the ground, the sun shot across the paper and left a wild looking streak of light. Which just goes to show in pinhole photography sometimes accidents and mistakes and luck lead to the most interesting results!!:smile:

My daughter wants to process the lupine picture herself so it will wait until she gets home from school. But the negative looks neat!
 
Took several on Sunday, but a series of mishaps meant that not than many really came out. I ended up submitting this from my DIY 4x5 pinhole (admittedly this was shot on 120 6x9):

which one to upload to WPPD 2013 ??

I finally had my three films developed. I used Konica PRO 400 and Fuji NPC 160 roll film with two cameras: Agfa Click and an old Gevabox (pictures shown in previous post above). I converted both cameras into pinhole cameras. The Gevabox is very nice for portrait and landscape images and gives 6x9 cm negatives. The Click has 6x6 cm negatives, a rather short focal length and some nice vignetting (like a trademark) because of the original lens mount. All films standard C-41 developing in a lab.

I didn't upload an image to the WPPD 2013 site yet, because I didn't decide yet which one to use. Which one do you like best?

Hi Bert!

I like the first 3 and numbers 6 and 8, but I like the last one the best. I like the slanting pattern in the trees, and how it goes with the texture of the grass. The water has just enough red in it that it compliments the green. I also like the reflections and the overall composition. Very nice! I hope you had as much fun as I did that day!
