I found a backpack at a sporting goods store that would fit my 8x10 then went to Joann Fabics and bought a sheet of foam that's about 4" thick. Put the foam on the back of the backpack to protect my ground glass and cut a smaller piece to protect the lens. I use a granny cart to to transport my gear from the car to the location. BTW, a granny cart is a four wheeled rolling cart with a wired basket. Fits all my gear and then some.
