Carrier question

Ok so have a question. I seem to remember that negative carriers from omega D to beseler enlargers were somewhat compatible, but I believe only one to the other (ie omega on beseler but not beseler on omega.). I just got a 23dga dichro and no carriers, but have a full set for omega D series. Can my D's work in the beseler?

IIRC there is some compatibility between the carriers for the Beseler 4x5 enlargers and the Omega D series 4x5 enlargers - and some Durst 5x7 enlargers as well.

Actually, Omega B carriers will work in the 23c IF you file down the corners of hinge end. I have an Omega B 6x9 carrier that I modified for use with my 23c. Which I credit for the good luck of finding a Beseler 6x9 carrier just a little bit later.

Well partially from college I remember, as we had a mix of beseler and omega all 4x5, and a corresponding mix of carriers. I seem to remember we were able to use the round (beseler?) Ones on our omegas, which usually have rectangular carriers.
