Sold Carl Zeiss Jena Apo-Tessar 300mm f/9 (East Germany, c1949) process lens, with slot for Waterhouse Stops

Lenses made from Zeiss at the GDR were no longer authorized to use the "Zeiss" trade name for its products, so the original name was replaced, at the beginning simply by adding a frontal ring with the new inscription.

It is the case of the lens offered here: the original inscription
