Testing the new 7.5" Wide Field Ektar lens out in the old growth forest at Cape Perpetua. Great lens for photographing expansive nature.
Bergger Pancro 400 at 200 ASA, processed in Xtol (stock), 1 second at f32

Nice shot, what filter did you use?

I'm going to be working in the Cottage Grove area this summer so I plan on making a few trips out to the Oregon coast on my days off.

Thanks!
Only filter used was the default UV filter. No color filters used.

For me one of the best results with Bergger Pancro 400 so far - like it a lot !!

Thank you very much, Fred. High praise indeed.
I’ve found Pancro400 “fussy” to work with. Bergger says the film has “good latitude”, but compared to Ilford films, it’s lacking in that department. If you underexpose by more than a half stop, you may as well reshoot it, IMO.

So rich in detail and tones. Beautiful

Thanks very much - glad you like it

Absolutely lovely. Truly does justice to one of my favorite haunts.

Thank you very much, Denise! I plan to go back again soon and take my wet plate kit with me, make some glass negatives.
I didn't realize you were a "neighbor" (I'm Corvallis)! Do you like to go out on a photo hike with a companion? I love bringing the Deardorff to the coast.
This is a second image I did in the Perpetua forest that day, developed in PMK (my first experience using it). I still have one more shot to process.

That would be great fun! We'll head up the hill and leave Thor's Well to the tourists .
(I moved from Corvallis before you got there, I think. I'm still a member of PAG, although I never seem to get over to the Valley for a meeting. Gotta try harder. Great group. Some of my best images were from PAG field trips. I still get some of my best when I'm out with Rich B!)
