If the change of venue creates transportation problems for anyone, then please post to that effect, I’m sure something can be sorted out. We’ve never left anyone behind yet...

Ditto. I'll have a few spare seats. (Good thinking, Dave!)

Yes - I felt the change of venue was a bit of an issue as the group seems to split up across various locations:sad: . I am coming from London by train and I am not driving.

I'm very partial to Seasalter and would welcome the chance to go back... So the White Horse would suit me if the date remains the same...

Delphine: Fret not - you won't be the only one who's footloose and carfree! We'll work something out.

Either one will be fine by me leon, as long as I can get a cold beer, I'm not fussed.

White Horse looks fine to me

Hi all
My vote goes to the White Horse... single preferred but will share a twin with a non-snorer (so that cuts you out Mark:tongue: )

It cuts me out too!

Out of pity for my fellow photographers you'd better put me down for a definite single, Leon. Preferably in another county...

The White Horse looks good to me as well. "Shepherd Neame’s Kentish Ales are on offer together..." which has got to be a good thing. ;-)

Richard

Looks like I'll have to stay in the van then... I'm sure that I'll get a good night's kip in that. Although it may be gently rocking along with my snoring...

I am flexible with respect to both hotels, I'd rather stay where the majority stays. Single, please.

I like the look of the White Horse but am happy to go with the majority view.

And, umm, no offence to anyone, as I'm sure you're all lovely people, but I think I might prefer a single...

ok - I've spoken to the manager. I'm afraid that, despite my best efforts, there are no discounts to be had - Brewery Policy apparently. So, it is still fully vacant and seems to be the best venue that I can find - and cheaper than the others so people can start to book as from now. He wouldnt reserve for bookings from me without a credit card so it's going to have to have to be first come first served. Also, if you are planning to eat there, the Manager recommends booking the dinner when you book the rooms as the restaurant gets booked up very quickly.

dave - good point about coast - reculver isnt very far away and would be a nice place to go

Delphine - the best train station would be Faversham (London Victoria to Dover/ Ramsgate) then get a lift from Faversham train station.

good luck!

I'm booked in for the Fri, Sat and Sun.

Nice job, Leon!

Now, rev up your milk float and find us some good local photo ops!

I've bagsied my room! So does this mean I've actually committed to an APUG meet-up, finally...?

Is anyone going to be travelling from the Ashford direction by any chance? It's just that I can get to Ashford by train direct from Lewes, without having to go into London, but Ashford to Faversham is another matter.

Donut - I have not checked the train timetable yet, but assuming that I'll be coming to Faversham as Leon advised, when would you be going down to Faversham and accessorily pick me up. On the Friday evening or Sat morning?
Please advise so that I can book the hotel.

Thank yoooooooooouuu !

Delphine - If donut isnt able to pick you up, then someone else will be able to so I'd go ahead and book.
