Hi there - am a long time (well, 5 years - comparatively long) digital photographer who has recently been spending more time with negatives & slides than ccd's... anyway, have been writing a bit about my experiences on my blog and recently did a quick write up of the Nikon 5000 vs Canoscan 8800f.
