Hi all,i am very new to this forum so here goes.I have a canon T70 which i haven't used for a few years,i put some batteries in with a view to selling the camera, the camera fired up ok but when i pressed the shutter button it just made a single click (not the normal picture sound!!) The battery check button brings up 3 dashes. There is no film in the camera does this make a difference?
Any help will be much appreciated, thanks

I know a few camera models will not fire the shutter without film. However, I downloaded the T70 manual and could not find anywhere that it said the camera needs to be loaded for the shutter to fire.
