What kind of old Canon SLR?

If it's an F-series Canon (F-1, FTb, etc.), I'd suggest Ken Oikawa. Ken is a retired Canon repair tech who does CLAs'. His address:

Another two thumbs up for Steve.... at least for Canon lens repair. Does he do camera repairs? I could swear one time I asked him about CLA on a New F-1 and he said he didn't do cameras, or at least not that one. (But then again, if that conversation with him was in email I can't find it at the moment, so maybe I'm just confused...)

Steve has done a couple of T90s and an EOS 1 for me. Excellent work, timely performance, and the price was reasonable.

Another vote for Steve in Sparks. Excellent source for your Canon FD repairs. My only experience is lenses though.

You can email Steve and ask; I'm sure he can, I just don't know if he does.

I have a local repairman who has done that for me on a few cameras.
