The Canon FL 55mm f/1.2 is one of my favorites, for its nice and delicate color rendition.
 
Yes it's a fine lens indeed, and blazingly fast. It clearly exceeds the earlier 58mm F1.2 FL in performance, which I can't really recommend using wide open unless one is absolutely forced to (although admittedly the 58/1.2 is quite an impressive lens in terms of construction quality and looks audacious mounted on a vintage Canon body).
