Cleaning house as we move to a smaller place. For sale, the following Canon FD camera bodies. All work well, although most haven't seen film in a while, and come with body caps. No mirror squeaks on the A1 and AE1p. FTbn's have working meters, using adapted 675 hearing aid batteries. The T90s are all fully functional, with no error messages.

A1 - $90 - sold
AE1p - $70 - sold
EF - $75 - sold
FTBn - one black, one silver, $55 each - silver sold
T90s - $90 each, except for one missing its battery tray, so best as a partner with one of the other two, or your own - sold

Prices are net to me, and include shipping. Happy to answer questions about any of the bodies. Full pictures at: https://photos.app.goo.gl/WLN59h7kARwrSave7

Can you tell us a little more about the EF? I wouldn't mind having one as a companion to my F1.

The EF is the most recent of the bodies I have, purchased in 2021. It has had film through it, and works perfectly. Takes modern batteries, too. Picture attached, made with 50mm f/1.2 L lens. The EF is a great FD body and would be an excellent companion to an F1.

In my humble opinion, the EF is arguably better than the f1 even because of the shutter speed dial that is easier to move while looking through the viewfinder.

I have read that the EF body can use alkaline batteries as replacements for the original mercury batteries and still give accurate readings without any adjustment. I understand this is because it uses a "wheatstone bridge" circuit. Back in the day these cameras were often called Canon's "Black Beauty". They use a case that looks very similar to the F-1 leather case, but the screw for the EF case doesn't line up with the tripod socket on the F-1 body.

In 1976, I was working part-time in a camera store while in college. Canon closed out the EF for the same price as the then-new AE-1. But I couldn’t raise the $280 to save my life.

Looks like I might finally get my chance!

Trying to find your ad, got the T90 today and just fantastic. Very happy camper here. Thank you.

Yes, the dial sticks out over the edge, like on the AE1 and the Leica M5. The EF is a very nice camera.

Yes the EF is a very nice camera and very capable too. I used my EFs (3) as a backup to my F1. For general all aorund causal shooting I always used an EF and was never disappointed.
