Canon Elan 7N Film Door Latch

Does anyone here happen to know if the film door latch is the same across the entire Canon Elan 7 series? I have a 7N that needs the latched replaced. I found the repair info needed here:

I have access to a 3D printer - just unsure if that latch will also fit the 7N specifically. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I cannot remember who made replacement latches for the Nikon F100 and then the Nikon N80. Do a search on the Photrio website and see if they can make latch replacements that will work for you.

I belive that the 7 and the 7n both use the same latch. Not sure how much work it would be to transfer the electrical contacts to a 3d Printed subsitute.


The elan 7 uses a CF1-3129-000 "Lever, back cover latch"
I did take some photos when I swaped the part on my Camera, I got the part from a repair shop. I also used another one of the same part on my Elan 7N. the camera in my facebook post is a euro version of an elan 7
