DESCRIPTION: Canon Canonet QL19 Rangefinder Camera. 45mm/1.9 SE lens. Comes with a used Hoya UV filter and an off brand slip-on front cap Camera serial #559489.
CONDITION: Basically very good condition overall with a couple of things I would consider minor. There's a crack in the rear viewfinder glass. The battery compartment is super clean and I put a battery in to test the meter/auto functions. My tests were not too conclusive because the meter did jump around and reacted to light, but I think theres a dirty contact in the shutter release button. It just doesnt act right. NOTE: Im not totally positive my battery is good, but its all I had. Manually the camera seems to be working at all speeds and sounds ear accurate. Lens glass is bright and clear except for some faint light fungus lines around the outer edge of the front element. I found them with a flashlight, but otherwise they are not visible. At least to me. And Im sure they wouldnt have any effect on the images. Clean film compartment too. Rangefinder is working and seems accurate. I dont know how crisp the center focus spot is supposed to be, but as it is I had no trouble focusing. Frame counter is working. Outer edge of the lenses filter threads has a slight ding, but a filter still mounts fine if you are careful in starting it. Filter is good. Cap has some wear.
