I got this camera from eBay expecting big things but it arrived dead on arrival. Put batteries in it and nothing happens whatsoever; otherwise appears to be in amazing condition. No corrosion on battery terminals, everything is accounted for and nothing looks amiss. Lens is scratch free.

It's a cool camera in design. Uses AA batteries & super-8 cartridges, automatic exposure, manual focus & power or manual zoom, 18fps, single-frame, macro lens, viewfinder, and so on. Most amazing of all is the f/1.0 lens.

Oh right, but it's broken! Agghh...

Please take it off my hands for $10 shipped, fix it and put it back into operation.

That's a bummer... the 310xl was one of my favorite Super 8 cameras back when I was in college. Unfortunately, mine is also a brick now. It worked perfectly when I put it in storage and when I got some gear out a couple years ago nothing. Hopefully you can find someone that knows how to get it working again.

It's a shame, I wonder what goes dead on them?

The lens is mounted permanently, but you could find a way to get it off.

Sold pending payment.
