Hi.Both lens and body are cocked but they will not reattach (hasselblad 500cm).There seems to be a small nib protuding in the channel (on the body) that accomodates the lens .This nib is near the 'lens release button' area of the channel,so at 5 o'clock when looking straight at front of hasselblad body.Does anybody know what this could be? Thank you for any help/pointers

Might want to remove the lens before they get jammed together and see if the body will fire to bring the mirror down, then recock body & reattach lens. Make sure the lever by the release is in the correct possition (up) so the mirror will come down. There is a screw in the body that you can reach by pushing in the barndoors to manually re-cock the shutter. Turn it clockwise with a coin to cock. See if that helps. L

The nib is the lock for the lens. When you press the lens release it should retract into the body.

The lens should only mount/dismount with the mirror down and the lens cocked. If one of them isn't cocked and the lens has been forced to mount, the cocking linkage is probably broken.
