I used my 1961 Asahi Pentax S3 that I sold over 40 years ago and got back from the Guy as 'Not Working' and I lubricated all the cogs etc in the base-plate and it works ! Here I loaded a 24 shot 07/2005 dated 'Tudor' ( Fuji) 100 I rated at 64 ASA and home-processed in C41.

Age Gap -- SMC Takumar 28mm f3.5 -- I had to crop a lot as lens was too wide

Looks like it was a great day to have the old girl out for a walk. Nice pix.

Great!

I can't imagine taking street photos with 135mm, well, I did it once. And I can't handle 28mm either for the street. I tried it on Canon FTb and on Leica. Too wide to control it for me. Especially for image in the middle.

Ko.Fe : Yes -- I sometimes have the wrong lens on so I am going to try a short ZOOM next !
I have an old but FREE ! 'Auto-Optomax 3.5-4.5 35-70mm short zoom M42 fit and on same film I took a photo of a typical red British Bus and it is SHARP !! Amazing for a 'cheap' lens -- I have another 'Optomax' 80-200mm f4.5 zoom which is also sharp but very heavy for 'Street Photography'

Great job Pete! I have a SV waiting for me to run some film through it. The early Pentax models really are gems. And in my opinion the best of the m42 cameras.

The picture shot with the 150mm looks straight out of the 60's. Keep up the good work, Pete *thumbs up
