Since jdphotochem is shutting its doors, Nymoc in Toronto will be my go to place for Canadians as I cannot find anyone else. They carry both Postassium Di-Chromate and Ammonium Di-Chromate.

Email: nymoc@bellnet.ca
Phone: 416-465-1929 (ask for John)

Damn!
They're right next door to me.
Haven't ordered anything yet since my darkroom is in the planning stage.
Anyway, I wrote them a quick note and the url to this thread so we will hopefully heard it from the source.

I just had a look at their website, and didn't see any mention of them closing. When and where was this announced?

NYMOC is a neat place, but in my experience it's significantly more expensive than JD Photochem.

Yup,
It's true.
Just received an email from Claire that she's closing shop.

Just another rainy day here

I realize this is an old thread but I wonder if anyone can help me out. Haven't been able to contact Nymoc so not sure if they're still in business. Anybody know of other Canadian chemical sources?

Thanks for your help
Dave

Nymoc is gone, I believe. I now get my alt process chemicals from Jacque at Argentix.ca. I've been dealing with him now for a few years. Great guy to deal with.

Thanks for the information Andrew. Looks great - I just registered with Argentix ( https://www.argentix.ca ) and had a response from Jacques within a few hours - looking forward to working with him.

Dave

There is a company in Ontario that bought Nymoc and supplies chemicals , there name was listed here in the past, I have never used them.. I too use Jacques and he is completely diligent in sourcing what you need.
