Here is my version...
Two minutes in Photoshop...
open portrait: select subject and then make a mask showing only the selection.
open brick wall: flipped the image so that the lighting 'fits' with the portrait a bit better , select all, copy and paste into the portrait, drag layer below the original layer and resize.
save the new merged image
Note that I made no changes to the files other that what is described above... contrast, exposure, etc. are unchanged.
It took me longer to write out than to do it.
The problem with this type of merger is that the lighting of the two parts does not match well. In order to do this type of work properly, one needs to plan ahead and carefully consider the lighting.
Anyway, here is my version...
