With processing, 8x10 color film runs about $25 every time you pop the shutter. I don't see how anyone can complain about the price of ANY 35mm or
120 roll film.

HP5 35mm bulk loaded is about $2.75 for a 36 shot roll. Toss in some Illford chemicals and a roll is probably about $4.00 processed give or take.

Don't know where you live but I'm in Western Europe and in a few years TRI-X 135-36 went from 2,75€ to 5€...

I snatched a boatload of this film at 4,66€ each but that's still very expensive (in my view anyway). A 3,50€ price per film would be perfect for me.

Prices in Canada are even more crazy. Most shops around here sell hp5 plus 135/36 for 10 bucks a pop. Way too much. The cheapest I can find HP5 is online but still is at 7 dollars. Honestly, film prices are absolutely crazy here and making it hard to shoot ilford or Kodak stuff.
