Last day was September 3rd 2016.
The website advises:

We continue with Camera Repairs and Ebay Sales (Camtech_Photographic)
FIND US
Camtech Photographic Services Limited

Phone:905-975-6420
email:camtechphoto@gmail.com

Roger at Camtech has done 3 excellent CLA's for me (1970's Mamiya TLR lens, 1930's Large format lens and a 1950's Schneider Xenar)

I am glad his services will still be available to the community.

All the best

Todd

Wow, sad news that the store is closing. I remember when Camtech opened on Concession Street in the 70s. I worked at Hamilton Camera Exchange in the 70s and 80s, Roger did some of our repairs at the time. I'm glad, though, that repairs can still be had. Roger fixed the rangefinder on my Fuji 6X7 last May and did an excellent job. I guess there are no more camera stores on the Mountain. Will have to go to Bell*Arte on Ottawa Street when next in Hamilton, I hope they stay around for a long time!

I was just there and saw the sign on the door. I left an old M42 mount camera for a small repair. Roger did really nice work on my Rollei not too long ago. I'm sorry the store is closing (retail isn't what it used to be), but thankful that he's still going to do repairs and service.

All the best to Roger in his new situation! Roger CLA'ed 2 Leica M2's for me as well as a rigid Summicron 50, to great satisfaction.

I think Roger is one of the best technicians and I'm glad he is still available to help with repairs. He CLA'd the 80mm Zeiss Planar on my Hassy few years ago and I was very pleased. I hope people will keep him busy:smile:

How does one reach Roger now that Camtech is closed? (I've had very positive repair experiences with Roger at Caltech in the past.)

I just found this thread and I am simply gutted. My deepest condolences to Roger's family. He was a good guy, and his work was top notch.

This is a loss for the community of classic camera users across the GTHA.

I was planning to sell the Canon GIII QL17 Roger mended (CLA and voltage conversion) for me. Guess I'd keep it after all...
