Anyone know the name and/or website of the camera store in Bergen, Norway? Was there last summer and just found out I'm going back and wanted to see what it had right now. Long shot, but....

Which camerastore was that? There are several, so if you could give me a hint I can probably help you.

Thanks for the quick response! It was up the hill from the harbor just off an esplanade like road with a sandwich board sign pointing the way, shop is on a corner with a nice display window, left hand side of the street. He has lots of great used equipment, Rolleis, Leicas and older stuff. Would be surprised if he had a website, actually!
Looks like we'll be in Bergen at the end of May, the 29th actually, just for a day, coming in with the Lindblad ship Endeavour from the Orkneys and Shetland Islands.
My wife is very excited to be back in Bergen, having been there in July on the way to Spitzbergen, even if we're only there for a day. But we can relax and enjoy the city this time since we've done the touring stuff.

The 29th is a Sunday, according to my calendar. It's also one of the weeks I'm fairly certain to be at home, so it would be nice to meet up. At the very least we'll meet in Antonio Stasi's shop!

I thought I recalled he was Italian. Guess I'll just have to peer into his window and save a lot of money! Don't know exactly what we'll be doing but maybe we can have coffee or a drink together then! Gads, I remember those $8 beers and now the Euro is stronger...but your quality of life is something to behold!
