I’ve recently acquired a Bronica GS1 that needs servicing. I also purchased a Leica M3 that should be in good working condition once it arrives but I assume in the not too distant future it will need a CLA. I own Kodak Retina IIIC that needs servicing right now. Is there anyone still doing service on these old gems in Southern Ontario? I’m in Hamilton.

I specialize in restoring the Kodak Retina folders (I do plenty of IIIc types), but I’m in Oregon.

Can’t help either the Bronica, but I would be keen to know who serviced them as I also have a GS-1. For great pricing, quality and turn around I would recommend Youxin Ye for your Leica service.

And how can I contact Mr. Ye? Where is he located?

I will second the rec for Mr. Ye.
Fast, skilled, ethical. Reasonable prices, too.

These folks did a fine job on my Bronica S2a, which is a hideously complex box. www.professionalcamerarepair.com They are in Houston, Texas. The price was quite moderate.

I have no idea if this place will take mail-in repairs, but I had my GS-1 repaired by them 2-3 years ago. They are in Parma, Ohio, and mostly do digital now, but still service the odd film camera. Just throwing it out as a possibility.
