Does anyone have some of these laying around? The screens are 24x30, and apparently they are no longer being made or sold. I could a dozen. Thanks in advance - David

Good Luck. I'd like some myself. But I think there are alternatve e.g. hardware supply, screens you can use.

The Zone VI screens were just regular nylon window screening in metal frames. Any hardware store can make them for you in any size you like. I've toyed with the idea of putting some screening on Venetian blind rollers for easy storage. Just roll 'em out when you need 'em and roll 'em in when you don't.

I currently use framed screens I had made.

Best,

Doremus

DIY will be faster and less expensive than the searching the world is worth.
Frame sections come in many sizes and in pairs. Want 24X30? Buy two pieces of each, they come with the corner thingys and are put together with screws.
Nylon screen from the same hardware joint.

I need some too -- Just went looking for the Calumet web site to see if they still carry them, and found they've declared bankruptcy and abruptly closed. Guess I'll be going to Home Depot.

Around here, there are "ReStores", operated by Habitat for Humanity, that sell used and donated building supplies. Might be a source for screens. And since proceeds go to support their programs, you can "feel good" about buying there.

+1 I made my drying screens (32x32) with the aluminum frame things from the local hardware store, and a roll of the plastic screen material. Took little time, and cost less than what it would have cost to ship finished screens.

Just get ordinary fiberglass window screens. Heck, I've even got big sliding door screens in the darkroom, which I got totally free.
There was nothing special about the Zone VI ones. You can buy window screens all kinds of places.

I use Zone VI screens, however see absolutely no advantage over nylon screens from the local big box lumber/hardware store. The person from whom I bought mine had made a handy rack in which to hold them made out of 2X10 boards. Mine holds fifteen screens and could post a picture if anyone is interested. Bill Barber
