I have been using one shot c41 Fixer for everything “Thank you so much Koraks” and it has simplified my process.
I use it 1-4 dilution.
But when I think about it the C41 fixer is supposed to clear the silver from 3 layers. I tried to find data on silver in C41 and b&W film and it seams C41 has 2 times more silver.
If this is the case 1-9 dilution one shot should be fine even for tubular grain films.

You're welcome!

You can use C41 fixer at lower dilutions (e.g. 1+9) for film - even for color film. The main differences are that its fixing capacity will be lower and fixing will take longer (given the same temperature). However, it works OK that way if you allow for these factors. I virtually always use this fixer at 1+9 or thereabouts for film, but use it one shot in that scenario.

I use it 1 shot as well. Thanks again. Got rid of so much stuff in my “bathroom” dark room.
Should I do 1:4 for tubular grain films or 1:9 with proper doubling of clearing time test be ok?

Yes, should be OK as well.
I did notice that some films, e.g. Kodak Vision3 (which also uses T-grain tech) does clear rather slowly at this dilution, so you may need to extend fixing time significantly.
Then again, it's a low-risk experiment since you can simply re-fix any film that in hindsight didn't clear properly.

Just a curiosity - what happens if you use C-41 combined "Blix" on B&W?
