I live in Cheshire. Not far from the Ilford factory in fact.
Can I find anywhere that stocks Ilford photo paper (after 4x5 resin MG) and actually has some? Nope.
So if anyone at Ilford is watching, where actually has it (or any 4x5) in stock?
I have not done much developing of prints in the darkroom for many years and looking at the cost and difficulty in getting paper, it may have to stay that way.
I want the 4x5 for pinhole stuff primarily, but I need to stock up on all paper.

Dear Alan,

5" x 4" is not a common size and very, very few retailers would hold that in stock.

You can go on our own website HARMANExpress.com and order what you wish, and it should leave today.....

Buying silver geletin photo paper in the UK and in certain other markets is obviously highly dependent on the re-sellers who stock it, we have many great UK dealer partners, go on our website www.ILFORDPhoto.com / where to buy and that should help you.

If your chosen retailer has an account with us but do not have the product(s) you require they can normally order whatever you need for next day delivery.

Sorry you have been frustrated in your search, thank you for using and valuing ILFORD Photo products.

Just ordered some from the site, but what initially put me off was that it said that it was out of stock and come back on the 13th(?) may?
I decided to put an order in and see what happened and it has gone through.
We used to have a Wildings Photographic in Northwich (and a Jessops) that stocked you paper, but alas no more.
Thank you for the quick reply.

ag photographic are very good. as are silverprint.
Agreed and I have used both, but it seemed so silly that I am within a few miles of Ilford and couldn't buy the paper! lol.
All three companies have given me Stirling service, Just wish I had someone local *sigh*

Alan what's the price for four boxes of say 100 4x5 sheets compared to a box of 10x8? It might even pay you to buy a 100 box of 10x8 and cut four 4x5s from each sheet and save money as well as giving you flexibility in terms of sizes

Just a thought

Don't forget the Ilford direct-positive paper which is available in that size. It can give you rather unique results

And also do not forget :

If you ( or anyone ) are using 5 x 4 paper for negs and cutting it down from bigger sheets its not 5 x 4, its the film dimensions for dark slides you need to cut, not the standard 5 x 4 paper size.

Yep I ordered the direct positive paper for now.
I noticed that you state on your site the difference.
Does Ilford ever have any open days? I have not been to the factory for many years and it has changed a lot.
