Try ordering; send cash since 1931 didn’t know about PayPal. And quickly… there could be shortages when everyone else places their orders!

The cameras and film are house brand 'Luminor".
Maybe re-branded Agfas?

French Manufrance catalog, 1931. Sears equivalent, about every household had a copy,

Quite a few glass plate kits available.
It looks like some folders were sold as dual plate/roll film, with adapter and plate holder
Not only did we all have a cory, but we bought the new one every year. The pity is we three always the old one, so none of my father's copies are around anymore. I spent hours dreaming of the caméras, fly fishing equipment, camping stuff...

Lots of things they did themselves, at least bicycle, firearms (the house name was "Manufacture des armes et cycles de Saint-Etienne", they were a provider for the army).

I'd like many of the items on page 253 including "Grand Train Electrique". It's probably much easier to find the cameras on eBay today versus the toys.

j' ais jeté un coup d' œil sur les origines de ces appareils:happy:

Between the two French main collectioners sites and Wikipedia, it seems that there were at least two camera makers supplying Manufrance: Héard & Mallinjod et Drépy.

Est ce que ces marques sont (re)connues en France?

Comme enfant, moi aussi je passais mon temps a rêver dans la rubrique Jouets du catalogue..!

I think the illustration with the white colonial man, teaching the time to what appears to be African children, very indicative of the time.
