The Bushwick Community Darkroom provides affordable darkroom rental and film processing in Brooklyn, NY. We're currently running a crowdfunding campaign to move into a new space which will better serve our needs.
Current facility: 400square foot store front. 4 station B&W Gang darkroom. Single occupancy color darkroom with 20" processor.
New facility: 1600sqf, 5 station b&w gang darkroom, 5 individual darkrooms, 33" Colex RA4 processor, roller transport minilab, digital imaging stations, classroom, library, and office.
We recieved a huge donation of equipment from PrintSpace NYC, which shut down its rental darkroom operations. We need to move to a larger facility to set up all this great stuff, and to give our growing member base room to work.
