Hello All,
I have just purchased this camera and I am having a problem that I hope you can help with. There is a rangefinder arm that attaches to the camera base at the rear of the focusing rail. If you are looking at the lens of the camera it is on the left. Mine has come off the rail and I need a good picture of the attachment at the base to see how to fix it.

If you search the Graflex/org. web site you will find information on the Kalart Rangefinder which was on the Pressman I had.

FYI: I was able to buy lens boards drilled for about $30 from MPEX in Ohio.

Thanks...but I don't have a problem with adjusting the rangefinder I have a problem with where the rangefinder attaches to the base rail of the camera. If someone has a picture of this that would be great.

I have a Pressman C with the rangefinder, but the rangefinder arm doesn't "attach" at the bottom at all. It has a semi-circle on the lowest part of the arm that rests behind and rides a metal extension on left of the front standard base. Sometimes it can get off the track when it's spring makes it stay forward, next to the standard instead of behind it. All you have to do to get it back in place is to extend the standard out and the arm will remain behind, having reached the end of it's travel. I'll try and post a picture (worth a thousand words) later this morning.

So much for visual memory. Here is a shot of what mine has, grunge and all. The idea is the same but the shape is a bit different from what I had described. Mine is set up for an Ektar 101. Nice camera and a nice lens that I don't use nearly often enough. I shoot 120 film in an Adapt-a-roll 620, but a recent addition of a whole bunch of 2.25 x 3.25 film holders and the rediscovery of a holder and tank for that film may change that.

Thanks. Does the arm run inside that "u" shaped lever with the rusty screw that is along the base board? The one with the spring on it?? I have the lever but not the screw to hold it in place nor the spring. I'll assume that both are a pain to get so I will be focusing on the GG. Do you have any idea what size screw that would be?
