Busch C from press to field camera

On the way is a Busch C with an inoperative rangefinder that I'm going to strip off and convert to a field camera. I picked a Busch over Graphic as Busch have much more front movement. I will replace the 101 Kodak with a Topcon 90 or 105mm. I want to strip the leatherette fabric off to reveal the wood for a topical camera look, what is the best way to get the fabric off the wood?

Use steam or a sponge/towel wet to just before dripping with very hot water laid on the body then peel off the leatherette. Mostenblockers will remove any residue and the leatherette if allowed to soak through.
