Yes, it's all of the above. Did I mention heavy? This is one of those no more than
10 foot from the car jobbies.
If ya got one o' them really big camera's you may need a really big tripod like this one.

With a two section cranky uppy column(one section cranks other's a slider) and them there
double tube legs, easy 8X10 and maybe 11X14. A bit of overkill for the Minox crowd though.

Minimum height ~36" Maximum over 9' with head and a tad bit or two
over 24 pounds The head's also Majestic, geared(Majestic) on one axis with a 4 1/2" round plate.
It only tilts in one axis, depends how you mount the camera.
Overall it's in very good shape, no dents or marks on the legs or head except
the top of the plate has some scratches. Both the head and the column are a bit stiff
and could use new lube.

REDUCED BY $100 to $250.00

You could use it as a jack stand for a semi.

Lester Bogen could have put on a bunch of weight and still been able to sit on this one! Yes, for manly men, doing manly things in a manly way.....

You mean a real tripod
Yes, this tripod means business. Quality all the way, No, I don't want to buy it. At my age, I probably couldn't pick it up. But there was a day when I not only picked one up but used it. An 8x10 camera just seems to look better sitting on top of one of these.......Regards!

It can also be used by a woman that's in good physical shape & able to lift small cars.
