Orthochromatic, if you take photos with a red filter you won't get any image! You can even have it exposed to red safe lights (how long is safe I don't know). Kind of exciting because you don't need to use a red filter with it to increase contrast; it already has contrast. You can save 1.5 to 2 stops with same effect!

Develops in black and white chemicals.

300ft roll is equal to around 60 regular 35mm rolls. I'd like to sell around around 20 rolls (300ft a piece). They are slightly too big to fit some bulk loaders, I just roll half of one onto another center piece of a roll, and load 150ft at a time. You can actually do this under red light (not sure for how long, but people use to use 4x5 orthochromatic negatives to make positive transparencies under red light)

It expired in 2004, but has been stored well, and doesn't appear to show any signs of age.

It appears to be 50asa (maybe even a bit lower), or at least if you shot at 100 it would need a lot more development. I did 8 minutes of Tmax 1:4, at about 68-70 degrees for the samples. Could benefit from yellow filter for sky just like regular black and white film.

Shipping is free to lower 48. (padded envelope unless you order a lot, then box) Otherwise I have to tack on extra. $60 [Mod. note: Price updated as per poster's request.] per 300ft. (price brake for saving on shipping happens at 5 or more rolls).

Here are some sample pictures with zero post-process, scanned at 150dpi on v700. I consider it to be pretty awesome. So awesome I'm saving a lot for myself, but I have more than enough to go around for awhile.

did I miss the price in there?
How much for 300ft?

edit: okay I thought that 30.00 was related to shipping multi rolls

so, $ 30.00usd shipped per 300 ft?

Ok guys I've met the amount I wanted to sell, I've replied to everyone that has PMed up until this time. I'll consider letting a few more go but not at the same price because I need to have some for myself.

I'll come up with a new price shortly, for the last few (that I would otherwise keep).

I've changed the price to $60 in order to protect myself from running out of film, or at least having enough $ to buy more. $60 is shipped to CONUS.

Anyone who PMed me way back, you get the initial price. Sorry everyone else, I was trying to be generous but now I have to be realistic.

Will consider some trades on the last few rolls too. Interested in unique M42 lenses, Minolta XD-11 (black), Pentax M42 body (only partial or with a lens I'm interested in) maybe Minolta/Olympus lenses.

Potential for more rolls if I can get equipment I need.

I'm switching to boxes for shipping. No post office in town carries any padded envelopes regularly. The boxes are safer and the same price.

These are 50asa, at 7.5 minutes Tmax 1:4 70*, all Yellow fitlered. I think 7 minutes might be slightly better, or a lower contrast developer wouldn't hurt. The Gray's are really pulling in more than at 8 minutes. Next up is 25asa at around 6 minutes. Then 100asa at around 9 minutes. (I have one that has the most perfect tonality of hair I've seen but the rest is shut blown out white, and it was at 8 minutes).

********* GOOD NEWS ********* All of these were processed under red safe light, and despite me even holding the film up to the safe light's direct (4 ft away or so) there is zero fog. As long as you don't take too long and put yourself between the film and you, you can totally process under red safe lights. This could be great for beginer students.

I just got done writing names on boxes, so very soon. (seriously I can't believe the post office advertises the way they do online for packages yet don't have them anywhere in a city, not a rural town, a city! whatever the boxes are safer, and I'm about to go home and stuff them!)

Thanks Field for the update! Excited to try this out this spring/summer! That photo above w the brick/landscape is incredible, sure demonstrates the film's abilities well. I am excited to see the highlight not burn out.
