Hello folks,
I have been trying to get to know my new-to-me Durst 138. I realized, that the current bulb that I have - 300W, diameter of 90mm is most likely not sufficient to illumine fully the 13x18cm negative. The previous owner used it only up to 4x5 where this is not a problem. I've read the manual and it says that for enlarging 13x18cm negatives (with 210mm lens and two 240 condensers) one should use a bulb with diameter of 110mm.
Now, my question is - where should I get one? I have been looking around both locally and on the internet, I have found some threads but those were only concerned with US market. What should I search for? Any ideas?
Or could a solution be to put some sort of diffuser in the light path between the bulb and the condensers?
Any advice would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance
