Who needs a LomoKino?

Scroll down to page 199 and let the adventure begin!

PS: LOTs of DIY photo "kinks" in the book too! (For those of you that don't know, a "kink" is a very old term for a rigged-up solution for photographers that was used in the early 1900's...)

We had one of these books when my son was growing up. Boy, did we make a lot of projects! Though never a motion picture camera.

Ok. I didn't know that word. I have a magazine from the 1950's that has the title "Photokinks" which made no sense to me. Yes, it has construction projects.

Wow! The whole book is fascinating! It'll take me a couple days to get to the movie camera
Thanks

Yes, it's a book from an era that was not afraid to encourage young boys to engage in dangerous, mechanical and chemical experiments!
There is also a Volume #1 that is equally fascinating and available for viewing online or download.

I especially like the "take any random internal combustion engine and strap it to something with wheels" type articles.

Kids knew how to bleed and enjoy it back then!
